Power with Control
My pick for rider of the day goes to the tool who was one of the two leads of a bunch of bikes (10-12, maybe) pulling out of Smokey Joes about 3-4pm.
They were in the right lane, I was in the middle behind them all. As we approach the light at WaWa, there is a driver in a nondescript sedan coming from Rue Purchase, she see's the oncoming stream of riders and picks it up as she hits the accel lane. If the bikers had stayed the same speed they were at, 50ish, this ladyt would have been 3-4 car lengths in front when she got over.
But no, Captain America and his sidekick decided "NO WAY MAN!!!!", and went WOT, which, even on Harleys, is enough to close the gap. Which they did. And they kept her pinned in the turn only lane til right before the next light, and only becuase she slowed to glacial speeds. At this point, all three were 10 or more car lengths in front of the remaining bikes.
Yep, making bikers look good, one tool move at a time.
