I really did need them. Yes JWW you are right picasso is no longer suffering and that is what counts. I think he's up in kitty heaven watching over me to make sure I am ok. I had a rough day yesterday hopefully today will be a little better.
I had a talk with my mom and stepdad lastnight and in the next month or so I will be getting a kitten if I can find one that is 8 weeks of age as I want it to get used to the dog so they can be playmates. I also have a senior cat too who is 14 or 15 I can't remember her exact age so I wonder how all this is going to workout.

Just wanted to let you all know today I had to put picasso to sleep as he wasn't doing well.
RIP Picasso just remember I love you.

thanks millertc. I have been having a rough few days but today seems a little better. Its hard going to bed and not having your buddy there to come up to you and purr as loud as possible and ask for lovings. He loved attention. He would curl up next to me in bed and just ask for lovings til I fell asleep. I still have 1 cat but she only wants to be petted on her terms which isnt very often.

I know this is early but I have a fluffy foster kitten looking for love...He is so affectionate and cuddles whenever you give him the chance.

Its best to get the youngest kitty possible since you have a dog. They adjust pretty much right away or in just a few days. Kittens are so awesome.

yup I want an 8 week old kitten if i can find one when I am ready after thanksgiving or more toward x-mas time.

I understand, it does take some time. When ready let me know. Mine are around several dogs. I have my own personal dogs and 8 foster dogs!!
