I called the Charles County planning/zoning/permits office and got the answer. You need a roadside permit to sell veggies/fruits in Charles County. I don't know about St. Marys. The permit is free but it is quite complicated to fill out. You would have to go to the register's office to get all the information needed to fill out the form.
And to answer one poster's question; I was just curious.

What I want to know is:

(1) does he really find that many shark's teeth in the area; and
(2) does he really sell that many teeth to justify him being out there every single time that I pass up and down that road?
