If anyone has seen the movie The Prestige then they will understand. Dolly is NEVER seen without her public face on. To include whatever she needs to look like "Dolly." She is the consummate professional at her craft.

I missed that one. I checked last night and they're both available to watch on Peacock. I plan to watch both in the next few days. The girl playing Dolly (I can't remember her name) is a fantastic actress.

I only saw Dolly live once...many years ago when she performed at the state fair in Indiana. Always been a fan of her music, but even more a fan of her character as she's demonstrated time and again that she's got a big heart and a generous purse.

Yes, and she's adorable. I also liked the girl that beat up the kids for making fun of her coat. Dolly only wore her coat as a dress that day to school and so when it came off she ran to a closet. She could see a little through a crack of the door but all could hear was SMACK! BANG! BOOM! :roflmao:

I think I will purchase both movies..been meaning to.

The girl that played Dolly was on the Young and the Restless for years. I believe she's 14 now. The other girl was on General Hospital around the time the movie was made. (I'm a soap fan).
