Now let's be truthful. If only given the choice of being either a Republican or a Democrat...then I am a Democrat. HOWEVER...I'm more of the non-existant 3rd-party sort. While I am more LIBERAL than conservative...I do have some "righty" values now and then. (death penalty,....and...ummm....errrr.... ).

That said...the last 6 years have ruined ANY chance of ever voting for a Republican.

We welcome differing opinions. We're hoping that one day a lib who can participate in a spirited debate using facts vs. rhetoric will chime in.

As Vrai stated earlier, many of us righties are not happy with Mr. Bush but we support him. I would have supported Clinton if he started a war against a tyrant and bungled it too. Unfortunately, Clinton was too busy getting BJ's and lying about it instead of grabbing Osama when he had the chance.

You're right about that. I'm not a member of any Democratic forums, but if I were, I wouldn't support banning someone just because they were a Republican or of another opposing view. In fact, I would be bored out of my mind if everyone agreed with me. Where's the fun in that?

Any number of times I have made a case for gay marriage. I bucked my fellow conservatives on the Terri Schiavo situation. In fact, many of the "conservatives" on here argue for traditionally liberal causes on a frequent basis.

So if we can make a case for policies that go against the Bush administration and Republican "values", I think you can as well. And not with little drive-by silliness, but with facts and solid reasoning.
