My llamas LOVE roses..

I was thinking about letting the goats out for a little free range outside of their normal free range sometime over the three day weekend. Will the goats eat my rose bushs? Will they eat my vegtables or flowers?  (I have gerber daisy's, some yellow unidentified flower, lobellla's, some Iris's, columbine and astibille.)

:yikes: Please don't do this unless you want them to eat everything in their path!!!

My goat used to stick his head through the fence and puuuuush the fence to try to eat thistle (nasty, thorny crap)....he didn't care about all the lush grass in his pasture.

Goats are notorious for skipping lush grass to go for shrubs and seemingly less-desireable plants......and I'm sure they'd love to eat your flowers.

Thanks, I'll make sure I have goat treats in tow just in case they start meandering towards anything I don't want eaten. I think basically they are just curious animals. A few nights ago I accidentally let them out when trying to lock the chicken up at night. They just sniffed around some things and then came running to me when I called them and gave them a treat. My goat sweatpea, I triained her as a baby to stand on her hind legs to get a treat, she does this well... unfortunately now she stands up and pushes me... it's cute but after awhile with her weight and hooves it starts leaving bruises on my legs because she does this more of a jab/punch, punch kind of thing. What was I thinking when I started teaching her tricks
