I left Solomons at 3pm and promptly stopped at 309pm while something happened on the bridge. About 15 mins later, traffic started to move. A smashed up F150 2wd on a rollback went by. When I crested the bridge, there was an F150 2wd spinning and trying to make it up the bridge going northbound. There was a line behind him, surely cussing. Why do 2wd pickup drivers not know their trucks suck on wet roads, much less frozen ones. SMDH...

You have to remember it has been years since we’ve had such snow. We have a whole new generation of drivers that have not a clue.

My dad taught me to use bags of kitty litter for weight. I could use it as traction if I ever got stuck.
I had a 4WD Silverado. Back was usually full of 50lb bag of Goat food and bales of hay. I loved that truck!
First snow after I got it, I took it in the field and really learned what it could do. I was essential personnel at work and never missed a day because of weather.

I would wait for the worst of the storm to go out and 'play'. You never forget how to drive in this stuff.

Yup. Still recovering from whatever I had, zero stamina. Pushing the thrower for an hour or two is going to be a killer.
I thought it was just me. All I want to do is sleep. Been going on for a couple of days.

I suspect the government is up to no good.
