I have a 3/4 ton 2wd pickup with a 350 and posi rear and it wouldn't have been capable of traveling across that bridge under these conditions no matter the amount of added weight. Maybe I was a bit too harsh, but idiots inconvenience everyone.

Sheesh. My husband and daughter's dipshit are heading to Calvert hospital to pick daughter up. She was on her shift at the hospital and injured her shoulder and now can't drive home.
Safe travels and healing.😊

I'm estimating that we got 3 - 4 inches of the wet, white stuff here in the north end of the Ranch Estates. I have not seen ANY totals so far from anywhere in Southern Maryland...it's like those numbers are classified or something.

Should we talk about the rain we're supposed to get in the morning?

Measured my deck 2 hours ago, 6 inches, a little wet but not slushy. Outside of PF, on the bay side.

About 4 1/2 to 5 inches in sand gates.

Ruby‘s enjoying eating the snow.

Looks like the precip has stopped falling in the last hour. I would guesstimate 6-8” on the southern part of SMC. A lot of rain from about 10pm to 2am. We’ve seen a lot happening out here tonight while plowing. Cars where they not supposed to be, trees in the road, transformers blowing up. Daylight can’t come soon enough.

I'm going out in a few minutes to try to clear the driveway before the rain later. Otherwise it will just be a mess if it re-freezes.

4-5" on the driveway, 7" everywhere else, Town Creek. Pretty heavy with a slush bottom, but the smowthrower got thru it pretty well. The block at the end of the driveway was just heavy slush. Glad I got it knocked down now. Was going to do my neighbor, then remembered what time it was....
