4-5" on the driveway, 7" everywhere else, Town Creek. Pretty heavy with a slush bottom, but the smowthrower got thru it pretty well. The block at the end of the driveway was just heavy slush. Glad I got it knocked down now. Was going to do my neighbor, then remembered what time it was....
Sitting on my back porch having coffee and listening to the snow melting, I decided it was in my best interest to go back to bed and leave snow cleanup for later.

Sheesh. My husband and daughter's dipshit are heading to Calvert hospital to pick daughter up. She was on her shift at the hospital and injured her shoulder and now can't drive home.
They made I back a little before midnight with no issues, just slow because of the roads. Luckily daughter's shoulder is only a sprain, so a few days in a sling not using it and she should be good to go back to work.

Just cleaned the driveway. Lex Park, 5 inches and the bottom 2 were very slushy. Snow thrower ate it up. I measured last night around 10 PM and had 9 inches so the rain last night really settled the snow down. Yes, cold water causes shrinkage.
The rain later today should get rid of any leftovers.

One reason I know we had 9 inches last night because my dog is only 6 inches tall at the shoulders. She wasn't pleased having to plow her way to her favorite spot. But she's stubborn and went head first into the void to tunnel her way through. Paid me back when she came in and shook snow all over me.

Got the neighbor done, started a light rain as I got into it. Yes, hoping the rain today will wash most of it away.

Birds weren't happy, they couldn't find the seed. They're happy now.

A full six here near the Green Door. ATV plow doing some work, but given its almost 20 years old, its gonna need a new clutch after this season, I think. Reverse not happy when its hot.

2008 RAM 2500. Backing out of driveway the rear wheels got hung up in the pile the snowplow pushed and were spinning. Put the truck in park, turned the knob to 4WD, the 4WD light came on. Put the truck in drive and no front wheels pulling.
If the light came on, the transfer case was happy. Auto-locking hubs failing maybe? I used to forget to engage the manual front hubs on my Jeep.

 moments....

Well, I went outside and measured the snow on the back of the truck.

Seems we have 8 inches in Sandgates area.

that makes two snowstorms this year about that level.

Better than average year.

Damn electronic 4WD switches. Not reliable at all. Maybe you'll get lucky and it's just the actuator.
Gilligan says maybe a Ram thing. A friend of ours also has a Ram (I think a 1500) and a few years back discovered his 4WD wasn't working either.

I had an S-15 Jimmy that got stuck in my brother's backyard in about 1" of mud, when I found out 4x4 was out. With that it was just one vacuum hose off of a reservoir that killed it. Of course, I found that out several days later. :banghead:

I test the Trailblazer periodically to make sure it's working. That one time getting stuck taught me a valuable lesson. Coming home yesterday I just switched to AWD to lesson the pucker factor a bit.

Got up and out way earlier than usual this morning, so methinks a mid-morning nap is in order.
