Looks like a coastal low storm aka a nor'easter. Now forecast is for 4.6 inches on Wednesday and 18 inches on Thursday. Temp falling below freezing Tuesday night and doesn't get over freezing until daytime on Saturday. Whatever falls will be around a while. Maybe plan on no school Thursday and Friday if this hits as projected. Still hoping they got this one wrong.

My app shows 1-3" on the 19th, 5-8" overnight, and 3-5" on the 20th. So between 9 and 16" predicted, and we're still 5 days out. Lots of time for change.

Certainly a change from years past with no snow at all.

If the snowing keeps up, at this rate, schools will have to be extended to July. As an aside, Sunday's temps is supposed to be around 65. A good day to get things done for those with unheated garages, to fix things, and what not.
