And to Bobby Labonte.

We can also add Daniel Suarez, Eric Jones, and Aric Amirola to the list. That's just at the Cup level.
Like all teams, JGR is looking for Championships. Truthfully, Bobby's star was falling. His championship days were over. The fans (me included) loved him though. Wrt the young drivers, if they don't start winning their fair share of races within the first 3-5 years, they're gone. JGR is always chasing the latest shiny object. I'm really surprised they kept Joey as long as they did.

I think Tony put a curse on the #20 after he left.

In JGR's defense, Joey wasn't champion caliber yet. He was showing the signs, but he had more maturing to do. Which he was finally able to do at Penske.
Could've been done @ JGR 😔😔😔
Joey wanted to stay in Cup , JGR wanted him in to learn Busch , Nationwide, Infinity whatever it was then

When Kurt Busch was on his way out at Penske, Keslowski lobbied heavily for Penske to go after Logano which he did. So that move was more of a mutual type of thing. With Kyle it's sounding more and more like he was forced out.

This just in, yesterday Kevin Harvick said he regretted not lobbying Stewart/Hass more heavily to go after Busch. That sounds like there was at least an offer made by SHR.
