Just heard that Royal Farms in Lexington Park is supposed to open on March 10th, 2025. Not too long from now. Hopefully the time line is correct. Probably is since I got it from an employee at the Royal Farms up the road.

I'm just glad someone held them off from putting another access on GMR. Hopefully having just the 2 openings to main roads will keep the accidents down.

RoFo is more familiar with operating in the hood than most of these other places and they seem to still do fine. Tons of places in Baltimore, Salisbury, Dover, and other hoods that stay in operation regardless. Let's just say the self-checkouts aren't available at ALL RoFos.

Their chicken is good. Their wedges are good. Cold cuts are decent. But their breakfast is severely lacking IMO. I have grown really tired of the fake egg slices that these places use. If I get breakfast, it's a chicken tender biscuit with wedges..

At least the panhandlers will have to get up at the crack of dawn to catch that gridlock traffic headed into the base in order to make real money :coffee:
Its literally a four minute walk to the corner there from the most populated homeless camp in the county. But they wont be hitting the traffic up. Pretty sure the county has let them know that that's a live rail right there. They screw with the base traffic, the camp gets bulldozed. Remains to be seen if the gas station gets the same treatment.

For your consideration ...

Over in the Solomons area, such as the Wies Shopping center, and down around the library, there is a guy whose name is Bobby James Endres. He and his "wife" walk up to people soliciting money, (even as soon as they get out of their cars, or just walking out of the/a store), under the pretense sob story that he was a Marine, (served 9 years dunchano), they are on hard times, and they need money, (just a wee small amount), (whatever you can spare, ya know?), because his wife needs critical medicine for her MS. They're just a little short needed to run over to the pharmacy to get that life saving medicine. Hell, he'll even show you his driver's licence to quell any doubts to his veracity that you may have. Don't fall for it.

Picture of Bobby from a BayNet unrelated arrest story.

It'll be the theft. Wawa on Great Mills Road (now Quik Shop) closed up because loss due to theft from the Rats.
Remembering that there was a gas within a couple of blocks of there years ago, it closed down after the last clerk was killed. To be fair though that gas station didn’t have a till, the pump jockey just carried around a big wad of bills for change.
