Rudeness BK Dunkirk

Does this mean that, even after the rude treatment at the drive in talk-box, you went inside the same Burger King restaurant (despite your vow to never patronize this restaurant)? Just askin'.

In the OP it was stated that they would never go back to that BK again. Their other post that you reference in your question above could have been refering to the same visit. Your question led me to believe that you thought it was 2 different visits. Maybe I misunderstood your question, but that's why I said I thought it was the same visit.

Have I confused you enough now?

This is actually a major problem in today’s society. When I was younger I remember only seeing high school or just out of high school kids working in the fast food industry. Even the managers were in their 20's. Now I mostly see seniors and middle aged people working these jobs. I know one lady who works at the Burger King in California and that is her 2nd job. I also know a guy working Wawa as a second job and a few seniors that work fast food because their retirement shrunk or was lost all together. These jobs were never meant to provide someone with a living wage, it was meant for school aged kids to make a few bucks to take their girlfriend out or help pay for college. If they raise the wage to $15 more and more people will make a career out of these jobs and young people will not have a way to get experience in the workforce. It will also make a cheese burger cost over $10 and none of these places have a cheese burger good enough to cost $10.

Personally, I would much rather hire someone with some years and life/work experience under their belt than the average high school student or young adult.
Things have changed drastically from when I was younger. Work ethics, expectations, demands, dependability etc. Now, the average kid gets everything handed to him/her on a silver platter. When and where I was raised in the 60's and 70's- the average kid worked for luxury items like Levi's, albums, concert tickets and sneakers! I started buying my own shoes and clothes including socks and undergoochies when I was 12. I had a paper route and baby sat. I do not remember one person in my neighborhood that was given a car by their parents. Times have changed.

No, the drive thru talk box was closed, so they were taking orders at the window and you had to set at the window and wait. So , I could see them all walking around inside the restaurant.

Actually, I assumed it was the same visit all along.

This is true because when I was a kid I did every job I could to make a dollar. When I was 12 I started working in the hay and tobacco fields and it taught me the value of a dollar. At 16 I worked at St. Mary's hospital as a dish washer and I received awards for every job I have held since for my work ethic. My parents made OK money but they never just handed me spending money, I had to work for it. I even made enough through my part time job and any side jobs I could do to pay for most of my college. When I look at kids today it seems that everything is handed to them by their parents and they act like they are entitled to it.

My mom calls them gutchies

I was the same too. We had a paper route, babysat, and I actually started hostessing/waitressing much earlier than I think the law even permitted. I bought most of my clothing, etc. i even helped out with food at home when money was tight.

My son and I routinely get pizza every Friday night from Papa Johns on Great Mills Road. The same three girls are there every time I walk in. They're really very nice and provide good service so I got online, rated their service as excellent and made a few remarks that I thought could only be construed as compliments.

I got a phone call last night from Papa John corporate office about the complaints I filed. I said I didn't file any complaints. The girl who called said is this 301-XXX-XXXX and I said yes. She said are you .....? I said yes. She said you filed three complaints. I told her no I didn't. She read them back to me
starting with you said they provided excellent service. I said that's not a complaint, that's a compliment. She hung up on me.

Dang, you just can't fix ignorant. You should have just asked for a free pizza coupon and been done with it.
