It's probably false, but I wouldn't blame her if she dumped him. It would certainly get the political henchmen off her back and she'd never have to do a duty dance again. The Kamala endorsement speech was probably the last straw for her, because that was some humiliating sht right there.
Barry clearly loves the limelight and political intrigue, but I've always had the impression that Michelle hates it. She doesn't actually roll her eyes (most of the time) but her body language does it for her. Everything is rolling her eyes except her actual eyes. Even her First Lady portrait is practically rolling its eyes.
They can say she's not attending the inauguration because of her hatred of Trump, but what about Carter's funeral? She missed something else that I can't remember...? Anyway, she's obviously donesies.
Apparently their marriage has been shaky and the only thing that saved it was she had to pony up so he could be President. Hence the eyerolling.
