Rumors of Civil War ..

Really? The "vandalism" for those on Jan 6 would be dependent on the actual damage amounts caused by each actor, right?
It would be dependent on those who entered the Capitol building. Those who protested outside and did not enter the Capitol were exercising their first amendment rights and they had every right to do so.

It comes down to the fact that people scaled the wall and broke windows to enter the Capitol. They were sentenced in a court of law. Trump pardoned them saying they have suffered enough. So if a Democrat wins in 2028 and pardons anyone who is a Tesla vandal saying they have suffered enough is that ok? I don't think so. Neither is right.

What if a liberal mob breaks into the Capitol because they oppose Trump's policies? If they get sentenced to jail, which they should be, is it ok for a democrat president in 2028 to pardon them? No. It should never be ok. The power of the pardon should be taken away from the president. If you are sentenced you need to serve that sentence. Can't do the time, don't do the crime. There is a slippery slope here that democrats will absolutely exploit when they regain power.

At some point in time all of what I am saying will happen. Just like I argued with democrats when Harry Reid changed the rules for confirming judges. I told my democrat friends that it would come back to haunt them. And it did big time. The more rules and barriers that are broken down, the more the opposition party will exploit it for their gain.

So in your mind trespassing is the same as vandalism. Don't think so Sport. Funny that many that entered the Capitol did not do any destruction (you know vandalize) and were only charged with misdemeanors. It seems that you want them held responsible for a crime they didn't commit.

Scaling a wall isn't vandalizing. And this court you speak of that sentenced them, did it allow all evidence available to be used that could exonerate them? I have read and heard that hasn't been the case for all.

As to your what if scenario with Tesla it is my observation that so far some are getting a free pass from liberal state judges and state prosecutors. Not to mention the Biden pardons for all those involved with the J6 "un-select" investigation and prosecutions. Do you even wonder why they would need a pardon if their activities were above board?

What if again? And as to pardons it is a power the President has and can use, so the actual fact is that it is okay. You might not like it but you can't say it is wrong. And now you want to strip it from the Constitution.

Really, there is no way for you to KNOW what might happen. You seem to have a grandiose view of your self even though you have proven the opposite by your postings. And with regard to your rules and barriers comment, if the opposition uses those that were changed for their benefit they are still in compliance with them, right? So nothing is being broken down.

That one was were he was released from pre-trial confinement in MA. I was referring to the State DHS employee that wasn't charged in MN.
