I'm pretty sure that buyers of these safes don't visit Liberty's website. Most likely, most often, see them at a sporting goods store and buy them from the store. Funny though, or not, on their website there is a COMBINATION REMOVAL REQUEST FORM listed under their "miscellaneous" tab. Now who would ever think to do this, or why they would need to do this? And I can't find anywhere on their site that states they can/will provide the combination to any asking law enforcement. Even in their
SECURITY AND PRIVACY page, nothing about sharing combinations with law enforcement. Except this ...
"Aside from the purposes described above, we will never share your personal information with any other third parties unless we have your express permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the disclosure is required by law." What "law" would require them to disclose to law enforcement a customer's safe combination? Good faith being their out?
So the best advice, is to not buy their safes.
And this is the only mention in their owner's manual about keeping the combination on file ...
