salmon

:yay: I love sushi, especially salmon i even like rare ahi tuna..its cooked fish I have a hard time with (esp since i am poor and can only afford frozen filets. did you know i can get prime rib for the same amount as ahi steak?:cds:) . if it tastes even remotely like fish I am not a fan. Ive tried tilapia..wasnt a huge fan..and cod..well I like cod if it is deep fried and in a taco :killingme

I love fish...cooked or raw. OMG I can't wait to pop this lil girl out, we're ordering sushi from the car on our way home from the hospital and stopping to pick it up :yum:

No no no, I have an AWESOME cod recipe if you're interested. I call it "Fish Mexicano"

I'm all in for your cod recipe - I love cod. I usually just bake it in garlic/lemon juice/butter/salt and pepper/paprika - but I'd love to try something else.

Suuuuure, here ya go

2 cod fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
1-2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup dry white wine
1-2 fresh limes
salt/pepper

Heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and garlic until they're soft. Add the tomatoes, cilantro, wine and the juice from a lime; simmer for about 5 minutes. Season the cod fillets with salt, pepper and fresh lime juice then add to the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes or so, until the fish turns white.

I serve it over Goya yellow rice (I'm a sucker for that stuff)
