Salvation Army Trashes Uniforms

I was in Salvation Army last night looking for Scout uniforms. Couldn't find any. Used to find 1 or 2 pieces every time I'd go in. Haven't found any in a while now. Asked the manager if I could leave my number to be notified if any came in. He said they changed their policy and now the Salvation Army throws away any type of uniform to prevent crime by criminals dressed in uniform. I can see Security guard uniforms and the like, but CUB SCOUT uniforms? You have GOT to be KIDDING ME! I will no longer donate there.

The Waldorf Thrift Store still sells them. They also have a nice selection of military uniforms in the men's department (far side of the last rack by the far wall, front end of the rack).

I am always looking for Scout uniforms and camping equipment for my Cub Scout Pack.

I have a nice set of Choker Whites I seriously doubt I could get into anymore if you want them. :lol:
