These two neutered male cat buddies are a bit shy at first, but after they get to know you they will seek you out to be near you, and they love to be petted.

Hopefully someone can give these two great boys a home. They are submissive, do not spray, use the litter box without fail, and they get along with any cat we put in with them. They both love to look out the window.

These two sweet boys are STILL AVAILABLE. They love to romp and play together and are best buddies, so we want them to stay together. Hopefully someone has room in their home and their heart for these two shy boys.

A trial period is a good way to see if these two will fit in your family well.

AND I also put them on Craig's List again. We got an application from what sounds like a really good prospect. They had to drain their savings account due to their cats illness and the cat had to be put down eventually anyway. They miss their kitty very much. They saw my ad about these 2 special kitty buddies and said they were willing to work with them to help them with their fears.

I am pretty sure that after all this time we've had these boys, that I will be sad and cry for them , but I feel good about the hands they will be in, and I KNOW inside that although they will be frightened and unsure about being in a new place, they WILL adapt, and they will be happier in the end.

Let's ALL cross our fingers for these 2 boys. I was starting to think they would be with us forever. Not many people are willing to take on 2 cats, especially 2 cats with shyness issues. Sure sounds like these folks have big hearts. The boys will go to their new home to meet them this week and stay for a trial period.

the pick-up truck we use wouldn't start yesterday, and the SUV is down for front end repairs that probably won't get done until later this year. I'll let you know when he gets the pick-up rolling again - should be this week.

I am so damn happy and sad at the same time. Sammy and Smokey, the 2 special shy bonded brothers went to their adoptive home today. I couldn't have found a better couple to adopt those special-to-my-heart boys.

Their life with me was just one of caretaker/critter, because I did not have time to be interactive with them much. Now they have 2 wonderful people who WANTED a special needs kitty couple. I am thrilled, but after I left them at their new home I cried like a baby .

I know that after they settle in they will be fine. When a person thinks no one but themselves can provide a good home, they become a hoarder. I KNOW those boys will have a better life in their adoptive home.

Never give up hope - you know? Glad I didn't. Funny how the urge hit me to re-advertise those 2 boys recently - you realize they had been with me over a year right? The waves of energy in this world work in wonderful ways. I'll have to find that dog-walkers email address so I can let her know they FINALLY were adopted.

Last I heard the other day they were still hiding in the kitty play thingy cubbies, but they are peeking out <G>. They only went off food for a day or so. Here is the picture .... if you look carefully you'll see 2 faces in there ....

I like cats. Just allergic to them. Went to family's place for Thanksgiving. Spent a while outside cooking oysters and helping to breast out a couple of geese before I spent any time inside. When I finally went in and sat down to chat, in about an hour my eyes started feeling irritated. I never saw a cat so I asked if they recently got one. LOL The answer was yes. Fortunately we were going to eat at another family members place across the street or I would have been miserable. Damn shame too because I love critters and most dogs instantly become my buddy. Cats I try to steer clear of.
