Satellite Radio Merger Approved

I've had Sirius all along. My new car had an XM radio in it when I got it. Didn't take long for me to order a new radio for Sirius. XM sucked for the 2 weeks I listened to it. :barf:

Of course Clear Channel's going to continue to be a bunch of crybabies about it.

Clear Channel wants the FCC to force XM / Sirius to obey indecency laws - Engadget

Apparently Clear Channel's new motto is "if you can't beat 'em, make life suck on the other side of the merger." The broadcast giant has dropped a whole big list of requests on the FCC to impose as conditions upon XM / Sirius for a merger, not the least of which is asking for broadcast decency rules be applied to satellite radio

Babies.

Regardless of which service you have or like...

... keep buying those subscriptions and listening to Sat-Radio.

Please! :yay: :yay:

I fear commercials are on the horizon of this merge..

Subscription costs is one thing, but I will not tollerate commercials.

XM, for me, was music liberation.. No more play list, no more babbling dj's & NO more freaking commercials being shoved down my ear holes without my consent..

I felt like I was being "ear-raped" w/ free radio.

I like the look of this:

There aren't 50 channels that I listen to. Same for my wife. We could save about $120/year.

see. i think thats just crap IMO
i would rather be given a list if sirius channels with definition of contents (same if you have sirius vice xm)
and then for lets say $1 a channel, choose only those channels that interest you ALONG with only the channels you want from your existing provider.

as a result there would only be about 10 channels i would like to keep with xm...and prolly an aditional 8-10 i would want from sirius, the sat company would still be making $$ and i would be happy
