Saving Mr. Banks

Saving Mr. Banks, with Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson, was boring in my opinion. Tom Hanks and Emma acted to perfection--it was the writing that lacked. The story was not that bad, I thought it was brilliant how they brought the past of P.L. Travers in with the present!
But when we (hubby and I) got home, we checked out the true story of P.L. Travers.
In the movie, she appeared touched and happy with the Movie, "Mary Poppins" with the final product as she sat in the theater, when in real life, she despised it. She did not change her mind about it...so, I think it would have been better if Disney had stuck with the true story--but we all know that Disney Movies have happy endings...
