Biden made a comment yesterday in his ‘I’m not running’ speech that conservatives are the enemy, they are the ‘opposition’. Now think about this… he’s speaking to the nation from the Whitehouse. Many within the democrat party believe conservatives ARE the enemy; not just to their party, but to the country. Conservatives have been called terrorists, arsonists, racists, anarchists, etc… These are terms used to describe an enemy. When you can establish a segment of the population as dangerous, and convince the people of this, the next question that comes is ‘what do we do about this dangerous enemy’?

Okay, I'm trying to interpret what this means. Are you saying you hope that all the things GURPS says in forums against government, that the government doesn't dredge up some sort of crap on him as being a threat to the government or the public in general. Are you saying we should fear what we say would be used against us by our government? Isn't this the very thing GURPS is 'paranoid' about?

No. My hope is that he doesn't some day need the cops and their identification technology/procedures because something bad has happened to him or a loved one.

I wonder about you sometimes, Psy.

Well, technically, conservatives are *supposed* to be the enemy and opposition to Socialism and liberal ####nuttery. They're not, but they're supposed to be. Just like "progressives" are the enemy of traditional values and fiscal responsibility.

I had to go back and correct my post to "conservatives aren't the enemy, they are the ‘opposition’"

I can't think of any other reason for progressives/liberals to be spouting such nonsense except to drum up support that conservatives are innately criminals and a danger to society, and should be treated as such.

Hey, I'm just trying to interpret what you posted. You can't see how it could have been interpreted that way?

But that's not the 'enemy' liberals are claiming. You know the terms they are using to describe conservatives. Those are terms you describe as an enemy that is criminal, an enemy that needs to be destroyed because they are a threat to this country.

Conservatives are *supposed* to be a threat to the country crazy "progressives" are trying to create. It's very similar to how Islamic crazies call the US "Great Satan" and say we are the enemy who must be destroyed. Well, duh, I certainly hope we are the enemy of radical Islam. I can't think why we'd want to make friends with them or have their high opinion.

When you stand by your principles and are firm in your beliefs, AND are in the right, you will be called hysterical names by people who want to build a following to tear you down. Nothing to see here.

Judge Jeanine Pirro: ‘Genealogical DNA’ Was Used To Lead Police To Suspect In Idaho Murders Case

“[M]y sources are telling me that there is genealogical DNA that was established in this case that led the police to this particular suspect,” Pirro said on the network. “So although that was, according to my sources who are very credible and reliable … if you try murder cases and especially murder cases that involve several victims, you understand that really the investigation begins now.”

“The issue is, what did he say? Who did he hang out with? When he was in school, did he talk about doing this kind of thing as a criminal justice major? He was interested in what the criminal was thinking when a criminal committed a violent crime,” she continued. “So there are all kinds of additional evidence that will be gathered at this point going forward.”

Pirro said that in a case like this, prosecutors will be investigating everything up until their closing statement during the trial. “And I’ve done it many times now as it relates to genealogical evidence — they literally can get evidence back to the 1800s,” she said.

^I read earlier today that the alleged murderer was interviewing quite a number of ex-cons, supposedly as part of his PhD studies.

I confess: I suspected the Idaho murders criminal investigation was being botched. Instead, it was using chilling surveillance tools

So, it is reassuring that the alleged perp of the horrific crime is under arrest and was methodically kept under surveillance and that police in Indiana – acting at the behest of the FBI -- even stopped him twice while driving home to Pennsylvania to covertly observe his hands looking for indications of involvement in knife violence. If Bryan Kohberger, the accused, is convicted of the crimes and punished, we can all breathe a sigh of relief and congratulate the police agencies involved – the Moscow, Idaho PD, the Idaho State Police, the FBI, the Indiana Highway Patrol, and local authorities in Pennsylvania – for getting their man.

And yet, it is disconcerting that the highly politicized and anti-conservative FBI is able to track our movements with surveillance videos and cell phone pings and match our DNA to a sample in its possession even if we’ve never had a DNA test ourselves, using relatives that have subscribed to 23 and Me, or otherwise have entered DNA databases that police can access.

This actually leads me more to the conclusion they probably have the wrong guy - if a guy working or completing a PhD in criminal science meets with criminals - if THAT is the "connection" - it sounds lame.

I'm not convinced yet.

I was wondering why they were so convinced that the knife was a KBAR. If you leave the sheath behind it takes a lot of the guesswork out of it.
