That is exactly what "game" dog means, and since they said she was short and small that means the dog is the "bait" dog!! I honestly can't believe that someone could or would post that!

These are the dogs I like to get from the owner and get them altered and placed in a loving home (that is if it really does get along with other animals and kids).

It is bad enough that people breed and raise animals for fighting- it is truly disgusting that it sounds like these people that have the dog have bred children!

I asked her what exactly was meant by it and she said it means small. I don't believe from her response she knows any different.

She didnt know. I spoke to her and she said that she was told that it means they are fast and small. She said she had no idea that it meant bait. She said that they have several animals they are going to have to sell becuase they are moving to florida.

People should have some sort of test to prove they can provide a warm loving home for a child or an animal.

What does moving to FL have anything to do with needing to sell pets? FL has a limit?? Maybe.

Having lived in FL for 17+ years, I DO know that it was very difficult to get homeowners insurance if you had pit bulls, Rotties and a couple of other breeds which I don't recall. The insurance companies considered certain breeds to be a huge liability. I left about 8 years ago.

Some big insurers, including Allstate and Farmers Insurance Group, won't cover homes in some states if residents own certain breeds. Others exclude some breeds from liability coverage, or charge extra for it. The so-called vicious-breed lists include German shepherds, Akitas and Siberian huskies, along with Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinschers, American pit bull terriers and their cousins. (M.P. McQueen, "Snarling at Insurers," Wall Street Journal, July 18, 2006.)

I think my homeowners even had a restriction on Dalmatians. I should ask for a list when I come up for renewal. Just so I can have it handy when I go to adopt another dog in the future.

Also, doesn't the reference "57" mean mutt? $100.00 for a gaming mutt. Interesting...
