Scary Phone Call

I just received a phone call from someone that identified himself as an employee of the IRS. He asked me if I was a specific person and I told him I was not. He demanded to know who I was and initially refused to give me a contact phone number. He eventually gave me a phone number that my wife checked and was bogus. I would not give him any information and asked to speak with his supervisor. His supervisor came to the phone and identified himself as an employee of the IRS as well. I told him that I was not giving him anything. He responded by telling me that he was Osama Bin Laden and saying he was going to kill me. This is crazy. What do I do now?

Might try contacting the police or the IRS. Pretty sure that impersonating a federal employee is illegal.

Other option is next time they call, give them lots of completely idiotically wrong information. Like that used to me my name but since my sex change its Foxy Brown. Could be fun.

Actually no, if it were K-Jo and Mrs Jones would have been in the big house long ago.

Maybe... Maybe not.

The IRS has been known to use terrorist tactics... Osama might be training them.

When I lived in Lexington Park, my roommate and I used to get a bunch of phone calls asking to speak to someone named Guy Leonard. Seriously it was like once a week. He must of owed money to some different people and we got his old phone number. One time this guy called and after he was told for the 10 time that he didn't friggin live here the guy was like "How do you know he's not sneaking into your house and sleeping on your couch at night?" Weird stuff...anyway finally wised up and just dropped the land line altogether. Not much of a need for it anyway, the cell phone works much better.

I wouldn't worry about it. Now if they had identified their-self as an employee from your local post office, you would have something to worry about.

Call the police and make a report, that way if anything happens there will be a report on file.

I contacted the FBI, IRS, and local police department. All I know at this point is that it looks like the number has been traced back to the country of Kenya. Im still Freakin Out.
