:smack: That was really evil!! I took few shots around the house/yard today, but wasn't able to get out on the road. I'm gonna try in the morning! Hopefully, I can get some good pics. :fingerscrossed:

we did decent just doing our running around for the day (shopping, etc) but it was surprisingly hard to find some things :lol:

its only supposed to be one picture per number, correct? That would only be 50 pictures needing to be uploaded online :shrug: Idk how long that will take though since I haven't tried any of mine yet, are you on dial up or highspeed internet? I could see it being an issue if you were on dial up for sure.

I have high-speed... just might not have time to get it done by then.


But if I lie and say I have dial-up will that qualify me for extra time? :lmao:

No, as CRF said, the deadline is for shooting pictures. I will give you guys a day or so to upload then and get then ready.

Don’t attach your photos to a thread to submit them. You will have to upload them in a gallery somewhere for people to see all you photos. There are many places to host your pictures, right here on Main Index - Southern Maryland Online MultiMedia Gallery, SmugMug Photo Sharing. Your photos look better here., ASSISTA - anonymous, www.picasaweb.google.com, Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket, and many others. Post all your pictures for the scavenger hunt in to one gallery or folder on your photo host site. Please limit your uploading to one picture per list item.

Start time: Friday Oct 3rd at 8pm
Finish time: Sunday Oct 5th at 8pm

Overall Winner:
Judging: The person with the most items from the list will be the winner. If more than one person/team gets all the items listed or ties for the most items, judging will go to quality of photos. So try to get good photographs as often as you can. (Quality will be things like photo not to dark or to bright, focused, and interesting.)

Artistic Winner:
Judging: This category will be on quality more than quantity. You must use your seven best photos, no more, no less. You can do post processing, but you can NOT alter the photo from its original content. For example, you can adjust saturation, overall color, sharpening, crop, contrast, fix dust spot, and similar types of adjustments. You can NOT, add or remove content, or build a photos content from other photos. HDR’s will be excepted since that is combining multiple exposures of the same content. (hint: in HDR the judges prefer real looking HDR vs. the cartoon looking HDR)

Best Single Photo:
Judging: I will set up a thread, and everyone will post what they feel is their best photograph. Once all are posted, we will pick the best ones and vote from them in poll.


Judging will be myself, Danzig, and a few silent judges not participating.

Biggest thing to remember isn’t how many items you get, or how good they are, it’s to have fun and get out and take some pictures.
