My daughter spent her 5th grade year in a trailer and it was great. It always had heat or air conditioning, they have thier own bathrooms and the kids have to go outside and get fresh air several times a dayMrs. Jones said:
We had trailers at Thomas Stone. I kind of like them. There weren't a lot of distractions and it was more peaceful out there than inside the school.
Where's nomo when we need her. Doesn't she have personal info about trailer life?CMC122 said:My daughter spent her 5th grade year in a trailer and it was great. You mean you didn't read his bio? Jimbo got his GED in 1975. Voters never take the time to learn about the candidates, geesh.mv_princess said:Please go back to school and get a GED then come back and talk to us about running for anything. Thank You

Pete said:I think you wasted the BOE time with your attempt to prove how enlightened you are. First, if you used the internet to do research instead of horn blowing you would have discovered that most recent statistics show that Arson is in fact the #1 cause of fire in schools. Primarily in the bathroom trash cans. Fatalities are virtually non existent with 0 fatalities reported in 2002 NATIONWIDE! See for yourself here on this federal school fire report. See here --> http://www.usfa.fema.gov/downloads/pdf/tfrs/v4i6.pdf
This being said one wonders how many relocatable classrooms are in use in the USA. The answer is 220,000 relocatable structures used in school districts across the nation. See here ---> http://www.mbinet.org/web/magazine/pm02_03.html
Now as I stated before I am probably stupid, but with 220,000 portable classrooms in use nation wide, zero fatalities, few injuries, and very strict fire codes in place at all levels of government, I would have to hypothesize that there really is very very very little danger in the use of portable classrooms. One might say that you your self have a higher risk of death or injury trying to smuggle a 40oz bottle of your favorite malt liquor out of a convenience store undetected.
What we have here is you are trying to create a hot button issue to mask your true agenda which is to attempt to scare people into thinking that overcrowding is so horrible and your children are in imminent danger of being consumed in one of the many catastrophic fires currently raging this very minute in classrooms all across the ST Mary’s county. AND this serious overcrowding is caused solely by the rapid and dastardly expansion of the dreaded Navy Base which you want to see draw down and all the jobs leave because it is mucking up your beloved rural utopia.
Sorry fear monger, no sale. Growth happens, it is not all bad. What is dastardly is your thinly veiled bullshiat fear mongering regarding a non-existent threat to kids in county schools. In that respect you are a true democrat and Howard Dean might nominate you for the “Edward Kennedy - Chicken Little The sky is falling…. the sky is falling… award for exemplary fear mongering in a comedy series or special". Which is exactly what your candidacy is, a comedy.
I don't think a second one would help.mv_princess said:Well I do believe he may want to think about another one. I am sure he dropped out before he completed school to get that one.
BS Gal said:Not that it has anything to do with this, but are you the guy that has restraining orders preventing you from going into certain local government buildings?
AHA! Now I know who it is, I've seen him around, really looks like aBS Gal said:I think he has a home, but I think it's disguised as an old station wagon if this is the guy I'm thinking it might be.......

The average price went up just about as much in Montgomery county. I didn't realize the Base had expanded all the way up there as well!JPC said:According to the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, as reported today in the Enterprise, the prices of median homes in Southern Maryland has risen 23 percent in this past one year. So now most homes in St. Mary's County are priced at over $300,000.
See I told you that the inflation is our enemy. It will keep going up more and it is mostly because of that Base expansion and it needs to be stopped. The inflated home prices mean first sell out and then get out.
Just remember the solution to our problem is coming soon in District 29B.

OMG!!!Pete said:A short term solution to your predicament might be to spray paint some of those relocatable classrooms you love with catchy phrases like CUSIK FOR PRESIDENT or CUSIK FOR EMPEROR OF ST MARY'S and my personal favorite TWO, FOUR, SIX, EIGHT I CAN NOT REHABILITATE JAIL JAIL JAIL. Be sure to sign your name and I am willing to bet the sheriff will pick you up and the Court will find you adequate quarters for a few months.
Wonderful!! I hope the housing market keeps going up!! I have a house here in St. Mary's and another rental in PG, I can triple my profits when I am ready to retire down south!! Why are you worried about it? Without a job, you cannot own a house anyway!!JPC said:According to the Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, as reported today in the Enterprise, the prices of median homes in Southern Maryland has risen 23 percent in this past one year. Pete said:James,
If you had self educated yourself in economics as you should you would realize that the increase is housing was caused by 2 specific reasons. 1. The lack of housing thus driving the demand higher and 2. Record low long term interest rates. The less it costs to borrow money the more money you can borrow, the more money you can borrow the more you can afford.
That being said, with your evident work ethic, and sense of responsibility it is clear you are sore that you have been relegated to living in a Maytag Refrigerator box in the woods off Chancellors Run Road. So now you wish the "nanny state" step in and oppress the local economy to "poor down" ST Mary's county so it matches your economic ability instead of raising your economic ability to match ST. Mary's county. Very self serving for a representative of the people.

Once again: Do you or did you have a restraining order against entering certain State/County buildings and do you or did you used to drive around in a station wagon with posters of some kind all over it? I'm trying to figure out if you are the guy I think you are.
