Calvert and Charles are both closed, still waiting to hear from St. Mary's.

UPDATE: St. Mary's schools will be closed.

PG schools closed.

I wonder how long they’ll be closed? For one, it looks like another couple inches out there since dinner and for another - my wife works for them and says they usually don’t open until they’re sure that buses can get everywhere again.

So what, all week? I hear we’re getting more Saturday.

I haven't looked lately, but about 2 more inches this evening, and it was still coming down here in the Ranch Estates.

From where I’m sitting this morning I’m guessing at least a 2 hour delay tomorrow. School parking lots haven’t been touched yet. The ones clearing school lots are also contracted for the county and state roads. those guys are back on the clock this morning for the county to get roads cleaned up. I suspect we will be on the clock at least to midday so best case school parking lots get cleared by midnight. With the overnight lows, parking lots will still be icy in the morning.

Well I got this one wrong. Not because our crew wasn’t trying. All roads and school parking lots south of Hermanville Road were in good shape as of my clock out time of 8pm this evening.
