Hey Catt,

I've got a couple that will be coming. Meet Guy and Seuss. Guy is a shepherd/lab mix, very playful and could use a young, strong arm to hold him. Seuss is a sweet Border Collie and great on the leash. He has some brown but hopefully will still fit into the qualifications.

See you at Peppers. :howdy:

It's kind of a small picture, but the one on the left reminds me of a tri collie.

Suess is gorgeous. My brother has two borders..nuts! I've told them about Suess but their 11 year old female is very alpha and currently has some health issues...(ortho ones).

Yea, it is a small picture. I have taken some new ones but haven't loaded them yet. Actually, after looking at some pictures, I would say he is more a tri collie, especially with his markings. The lady that gave him up said he was a Border Collie.

Did she say he was a purebred? This picture is from the email Krazd_Kat sent me a few weeks ago. Not sure if it's any larger than what TES posted.

 Yeah, I see that the pictures posted in the wrong order. I tried to upload both but the shep/lab's picture was too big so it loaded the collie and then I reloaded the shepherd without changing the post.

Obnoxious (border) Collie Disorder? :lmao:

Actually, he is quite calm. Was scared to get in the car but settled down nicely once we started to move. He's calm in his run and great on a leash. He doesn't seem to know how to "fetch" or play with toys but is quickly picking that up. He loved the snow! He knows "sit" and obeys quickly. At first all he wanted to do was try to get out of the yard - looking to go home - but now seems content to walk the yard with us. Not at all like a border collie I was around and fostered for awhile several years ago. He'll make someone a wonderful companion.

Help "Invisible Dogs"
My friends have one of those...she looks more like a corgi/cattle dog mix, but she's a great sheep herder!

Well unfortunately Suess can't be on a working farm. He at one time showed promise of being a herder but then due to a series of catastrophic events he thinks he is "pleasing" his person by bringing down the animals.

Because of that I was truly amazed when I saw how he is w/cats and other dogs. He's fine with all of them, but for some reason, he thinks he's supposed to "down" the farm animals.

He was fine with the rabbits she had in hutches, too.
