While it has become very apparent that he has a drinking problem, he seems to genuinely care for animals. He's a good dude.

So why you go and make it world wide news?
and you dare say he is a good dude?
Besides...what does his drinking, or yours for that matter, have to do with dog rescue?

Yes, I'm the only one that has posted about his drinking.

I think Sockee is just mean and vicious.....never has anything nice to say and always picks at people on here..... I say we get rid of people like this on the forums...

I would think the person who started this thread emphasizing that he had absolutely nothing to do w/ the rescue would be the one smearing him... not someone mentioning he has a drinking problem :shrug:

Yes.

I met unix once and he seemed like a really nice guy and I am really sad to hear this. But, with all due respect, I'm not sure it was appropriate to wring out someone else's dirty laundry in a forum like this.

Sorry, I didn't read this before I posted mine.

Nuff said I guess. I just pray (if you're right) he is getting help. He seems a decent and caring guy.

I have never met him but I hope he has everything under control. I think the thread is more or less a disclaimer to separate Unix and Second Hope, doesn't seem like a smear. But what the F do I know.

Thanks, that's truly all this was for. Many people have come to me (from the forums) thinking he was one of the Board Members (which he never was), I only wanted to clarify to anyone that may have dealt with him regarding Second Hope, that he has nothing to do with it, even as a volunteer.
