We are watching it.. at first I was like what a bunch of snobby peeps.. but it has had me in tears a few times.

I saw the commercials and welled up. Forgot to add it to Tivo. Is it a series?
They were quite snobby. The peeps on show one, only bucked up a 125k. The second show gave up 300k.
Of course it's all tax deductible in the end though.

It was sappy but corny. At the end they pony up to the folks they kissed up to and bow their heads in shame and say that they have been lying to everyone since they got to town.
They then proceed to tell whomever that they are filthy rich and want to donate to their cause. Then they pony up the check.
Heck, on second thought, if I was destitute and living in squalor and you showed up waving your checkbook and bragging about how rich you were. I would ask for a few more zero's on the end of the check.
Didn't any of the average Joe's wonder why they were being filmed?

Hubby & I watched the show last night and liked it. Did you see the previews for the next episode? The rich guy goes to the ghetto.
He's driving past a whole bunch of thugs getting arrested. Should be a good one!I watch the 8:00-9:00 part of the show....did not know it was a 2 hour, my son wanted to watch Rudolf the red nose reindeer ( even though he is 13 ,we talked about how that monster scared the heck out of us when we were little ). Good ole time memories..
Any way the show made me cry....the couple I saw I felt were very REAL and gave from their hearts...not too show off how much money they have, but because they really care about people...

Yeah, it was a very touching show. I got a little case of the sniffles myself.
The best part is that these millionaires help people who are helping others. They don't just walk up to any old needy family and offer a check. They walk up to those individuals who are doing their part to help others even though they don't have a lot for themselves.
