Of course there are plenty of differences between a mass-murdering monster like UBL who thought he was doing the work of allah, and this woman who thinks her god doesn't want her to cut her hair, wear make-up, wear stylish clothes, or provide marriage licenses to gay couples. The point of the outrageous comparison is that both of these people are examples of religious extremists who believe that the laws of their god overrule the laws of man.
