When I say I remember bits and pieces, I remember the dentist asking me to open wider and bite down. I remember absolutely nothing of the work, shots of novocain, drilling, none of the skeery stuff

I am sure the staff always has a good laugh after the procedures. Ya kinda don't want to look them in the face for the follow up.

I was quite hilarious after ankle surgery. When the nurse told me what I had said in recovery, I was in shock. She said I should be on comic central, except I used bad language they would have to bleep out.

Oh, no, I talked about the guys in the room with me that were waking up and scratching and gave a pretty good description using testicles and the gonad word a lot! When men wake up from surgery, the first thing they do is scratch.

I only had to have some fillings done. My appointment was at 10 and I think I was out of there around noonish.

Oh. yeah. Big time when they are just waking up from surgery. I was the only woman in there and there was a LOT of itching going on. It was really gross. I was awake enough to witness about four men. First thing they did.

I do that when I wake from anesthesia. Before my last surgery, the doc gave me something so I wouldn't.

Never had sedation although I have fallen asleep in the dentists chair. Novacaine for wisdom teeth pulling and root canals. Anything else, i.e. deep cleaning, etc. don't need a thing. :shrug:

They give you valium and a sadation pill. (Good stuff ) They'll use nitrous on people that are hard to numb in addition to the pills also.

I was kinda queasy the evening after I had it done. But I ate something and it settled my tummy.

They give you pills AND gas. I guess I should have told them that I get extremely ill from anesthesia, but I didn't think laughing gas was the same type of stuff. :shrug:

Over all though, I'd still highly recommend it. I just feel like a retard for yacking all over myself. They were really nice and gave me a pair of medical scrubs to wear home.

I still feel ill.
