Stupid how? Has this person not mentioned several times that they directly work for or support (contracted) the government on a daily basis? Are they not on this forum each and every single day? Its simple, you are not allowed to borrow your position as your authority in speaking publicly unless your position authorizes you to speak for that organization. If you do it on your own time as John Q. Public, knock yourself out. . Once you raise a banner identifying your employer, that's it.

Like handling classified, every military person gets it, a lot of civilian's don't. I've never worked for the White House, but if the job indoctrination doesnt cover this basic fact, I would be shocked.
