Haven't been riding much since I bought the MX-5 Mazda. I get an open air ride at the push of a button instead of having to load up with safety gear.

The bunny is dead and gone.

Dont need no bunny:) Wouldnt get along with the snake anyway.

However, if APS's buyer doesnt want things like the handguards, or other stuff that fits both the 650 and 1000, it could work out, and offset the buyer price a little:)

Got one myself and I've been enjoying it so much. Can't outrun most of the sports car but you can whipped it around like it's tied to a post. The quick response and superb handling with that open air ride is just awesome.

I've got the retractable hard top, the premium package and the suspension package. It handles great and it's a big change to be blasting down the road in the open without a helmet, armored jacket and gloves.

Someday I would love to add a Miata to the collection I do not have yet:) I only wish they had put around 240hp in them, to me, that would be the perfect power level for that machine.

Lets talk about those "extras", man:)
I've got the Corbin seat with the split cover, a new cover is about $100 from Corbin and it was $450 new. I've got a crap load of helmets and jackets I need to get rid of.

MazdaSpeed had a supercharger made by Cosworth that has been developed after market and runs you up to 240hp, sounds like fun

I'm good with my gel seat, and I'm okay with gear:) I find it funny that the Mazdaspeed ended up right where my gut did on the right power level for the car. My Neon ended up with 310 for normal gas, and 360 on race fuel, but the Miata wouldn't need that much, I dont think.

There is supposedly an aftermarket supplier out there with the parts to convert to a 13B rotary. Pretty easy to mod one out to about 300BHP. Used to have a '72 Rx2 and it ripped. :yay: Think of a Datsun B210 with 300 horsies.

Nah, no high HP rotaries for me, I'm much happier with mods with factory backing like the Mazaspeed stuff. Less peak power, perhaps, but no aftermarket company can approach the testing resources any factory can bring to bear.

Mazdaspeed used to have the conversion stuff... but I hear they stopped producing it.

My old Rx2 had a '84 12A and the only mod was a Modified intake and Holley 450. Thing SCREAMED. That's why I love the old rotaries. :yay:
