I don't care if you smoke in front of my child I just don't want it in her face. Her father is a big smoker and so is his mom and every girl he ever dates. I fight with him all the time about him smoking in the same room or in a car with her. I just think it is bad for her. When she gets older shes going to do what she wants so I can't stop her from smoking if that's what she wants to do.

When someone smokes when my kids are present, I merely wait patiently.


When the person begins yacking up a lung in a black and tarry coughing fit, I point to them and say, "See kids, this is why we don't smoke".


Then I thank the smoker for providing a good example to my children.
