Severely abused dog needs foster home.

Help "Invisible Dogs"
I was told yesterday that a foster home is in place. Someone who specializes in disabled animals. Haven't heard anything so far today.

Krazd_Kat...any info?

He's doing good. Unfortunately he had just started trusting them and wagging his tail, now after the surgery they are back to square one...

But he was a trooper through the surgery and they haven't found anything else wrong.

They do have a foster home selected with lots of experience in this type of special needs animal, so that's a good thing. Once he's healed and been evaluated we will probably start looking for an adoptive home.

You can read Pie's Story, it should be updated tonight sometime and we will try to keep it current with updates and pictures as he heals. Plus there will be a place for "Pie's Angels".

thanks all,
Kathy

Hows Pie doing? Hopefully you have been able to regain his trust.

I need to update his page, but he's at home now. We had to make some changes to our plans as he had become agressive at the hospital so the original foster was unable to take him.

We have an animal behaviourist with our group and that's where he's going to live the rest of his life (even though it's not as bad as they had lead us to believe).

We are pretty sure the only issue's he was having was he was in pain and they were having to pick him up everytime.

Since he has been at his new home, his loving side is coming out quickly, he wants and seeks the attention, thrives on it and doesn't want to go back to his crate when he needs to.

Anyway I'll get his page updated in the next couple of days and it should include some new pictures.

Thanks to all, this couldn't have been done without all the support.

Kathy
