I don't blame the guy - how would you like to be a cop in a libby area? Doing your job to help keep the residents safe, risking your life for theirs, and the local media gets all excited about whether a cop followed procedure rather than the recidivist criminal that killed him?

Cops are SUPPOSED to chase criminals - that's why we got them. Now the "progressives" want to pass laws so cops CAN'T chase criminals because somebody might get hurt.

I don't know how anyone can be a cop in California. You would always be in "no win" situations.

I heard the liberals referring to themselves as Progressives this morning on the radio. I guess they are going to ruin another good word. Progressive Insurance will have to change their name.

The criminal justice systems is being redefined by the Liberals. It's "justice FOR the criminals."

My mother taught me not to hate but it sure is hard to find another word for the way I feel about the liberal media, liberal judges and liberals in general. They are really screwed up.

Chances are huge that they will already have multiple offenses followed by "Nolle prosequi". It sounds like San Francisco at least has a Police Chief and DA that wants to fix the problem.

But I believe the cops in MD are doing their jobs as well, hampered by "progressive" judges just like in SF (or anywhere else). Plus there's the prison overcrowding issue, and that's why they let so many of them out.

I'm sure the judges are more empowered to get rid of him moreso then anything he could do to get rid of the judges.

This is why I can't get too excited about the Calvert Sheriff's race. There are tons of arrests with tons of evidence but Calvert County DA's historically don't prosecute and if it does get to court, they will get a lecture and turned loose.

Did I see in the paper that the term for a judge here is FIFTEEN years??

How are we supposed to hold them accountable when there is nothing we can really do for another FIFTEEN years!!?

How did it ever get to be this way? Judges should be on the four year plan and be put on the ballots.

Why not bring back Devil's island. Leave them provisions for 1,000 and put 2,000 of them on the island. Let them develop a civilization or let them kill each other off.
