Our prayers go out to you and your family at this very difficult time.

My husband's mother passed away on May 6, 2006, from lung cancer. She only lived one month from the diagnosis.

As if that wasn't enough, his youngest brother (he had 2) was killed in a motorcycle accident. A pickup truck ran a stop sign and his brother struck him broadside. It was 2 months and 9 days after his mother's passing.

We can fully sympathize and understand your grief. It will be a long road but one that you will need to travel in order to grieve.

May God keep you in his care.

Yes, we are very proud. I wish more men were like him in so many ways. He will be missed so very much.
He used to crack me up. He was one of those guys who was funny without trying to be. Never laughed at his own jokes but he kept us in tears. :lmao:

And even through his hardest and sickest times he was the same way, he never stopped laughing and he always had us laughing. God took a good man.

RIP

I would like to give my thanks to the SHA in Loveville for the respect they have shown for my dad after his death.

Thank you so much.

MissPerky and Sunflower: I passed the SHA this afternoon. The tribute to your father was very emotional; the kind of tribute usually accorded to fallen police and firemen. As one who lost both her husband and father to cancer, I know there is little that can ease your grief at this time; however, a small consolation may be that, by passing SHA's rare public tribute to your father, thousands of passersby, who, like me, did not have the pleasure of knowing your father, can see that the SHA is honoring a very respected and remarkable man.
My prayers are with you and your family.

MP, I am so sorry for your loss, I know it still hurts every day. I lost my Mom in December. She had a stroke in October and never recovered. It is a terrible thing to lose a parent. Your memorial web site is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. :huggy:

That is awesome. May God grant you peace. I lost my mom when I was 17 and my dad when I was 23. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
