We used to ride 3-wheelers in the desert outside Yuma, AZ, on big sand hills. It was great fun. I think the hills are "protected" now, but it was a big party every weekend.
Farm country Pa. We rode everything from mini bikes, to go carts, 3 wheelers, snowmobiles, and motorcycles. Didn't have 4 wheelers back then. That's probably the only thing I like about snow is snowmobiles.

Well we went to "look" at the 4 wheeler's the guy had for sale. Boy lept out of bed and took a shower and was ready to go. We got there and the guy had one running and had ridden around the driveway, besides looking a little rough he picked the red one. Wrote the check, loaded it up and came home.

Got it home and it started right up and would move but it was totally gutless. Wouldn't even go up the slight slope of the driveway. On flat ground it would eventually go but was terrible. Called the dude and he said it probably needed a new plug. Off to the store, new plug, tighten the chain that had about 4 inches of slop in it and it was the same.

Called the guy back and he said he would get the other one out and we could swap. Drive all the way back over, swap the new spark plug in and the other one wont start. So after 5 hours of horsing around Boy had a 4 wheeler that was so enemic it couldn't get out of its own way for 2 hours.

Oh well maybe next weekend.

I remember seeing folks on their dune buggies and atv's en route to San Diego a couple times out there. Looked like a lot of fun! :yay:

He bucked up pretty well. All excited, got the thing home, then it didn't run, then taking it back was a big bummer.

Speaking as an official "bubble momma", he will be wearing a helmet when he gets that ATV, right?
Probably not, it would clash with his flip flops.

Awwwww. :huggy: He probably got over it quicker than you did. It sucks when kids get disappointed. I know, life is about disappointments, but you hate to watch it.

Really what other reasons has he burried kids?
Do not kid. I know dang well he'ds going to be wearing a helmet. It saved the life of a friend's son. He broke his legs, but his head only received a mild concussion and two years later he's walking fine. Doc said the wreck would have killed him if he hadn't worn a helmet.

First of all, it's a she, and secondly, many reasons.
Well list some so I can be sure to ban those things as to remove any risk. Choking on chicken nugget, car accidents, swing sets?
