1) My bike tires aren't bald. The rear tire is starting to wear, and I'm having it replaced next Friday.

2) She flys in tomorrow. I'm watching the weather to see if it's going to be dry when I go to pick her up.

3) She told me that she is bringing a small overnight back that could fit on the motorcycle.

4) You paint her to be a feeble old lady. I love my mother-in-law and think that she'd have a blast on the bike.

5) This might not even be a problem depending on the weather.
Tell the truth, you're just looking forward to having her spend an hour giving you a reach around.

Does she want to ride on the bike? If so go for it.
