Yes, furloughed feds are guaranteed back pay, that happened under Trump’s first term because he had so many shutdowns! How the hell do I know and remember so much about that term than you drones??

Yep, the reasoning was that maint workers would not be present for the former, and the police for the latter.

In reality, it was the same reasoning that leads school boards, when faced with a budget cut (also known as not giving them the extra 5 million they wanted on top of inflation) always lead with art teachers getting cut and not second assistant principals.
