Lying down on the couch... waking up to two Baby Hueys, who just KNOW they're lap dogs, that have strategically placed themselves on my head and butt - at them being 80 lbs a piece each ... There is some kind of love there - knowing they can be anywhere else in the house, any floor, but just HAVING to be on the momma that endears me, no matter how much of BIG mooses they are

It sucks up your free time, that is for sure, but I love being a mom. I have two terrific boys.
but, you made me think of something else. I cleaned my truck out yesterday. So, after a 1/2 a bag of garbage, a vacuum, spray cleaner, I sat inside looked around and it was clean.
Gawd that felt good.

Your "bag of garbage" entry just reminded me of my most recent experiment... Emma has been destroying her bed pillow. I keep sewing it, tying it, replacing the case and so on... She simply is not happy until it is shredded, nest-style, in her crate. When I go to pick it up and put it in the garbage, she seems to want me to leave it as is. Reminds me of either a beast's wild den or a teenager's messy comfort space! :shrug: Kids!

Yep, like my kids, I cleaned both rooms this weekend, spotless and now they are messy again. I really think they like them that way.
