There was an open invitation / discussion about it. If you wanted to go you should have gone. So you are a dumb ass to complain about not being invited, since it was an open invitation.
It was actually supposed to be a certain personal forum's gathering but BCP decided to not wait a ####ing day before posting to make it a public M&G. Glad they had fun.

I do believe that if you suggest in a personal forum that that personal forum should have a gathering that it should be just for that personal forum. Or should be all feel obligated to invite the general population?

Why in the hell would one be obligated to invite everyone to a personal forum gathering? Why not just open the doors to the personal forums and let everyone join?

Do you ever go out with a few friends and not post it on the forums? Or do we get invited to all of your lunch dates and evenings spent amongst friends?
What's wrong with inviting a few friends to do something? Assuming that the private forum in question is a group friends (and not something like Fight Club), and someone wants to invite their friends by using the forum (instead of texting or facebook), how is that considered cliquish?
But if that is cliquish, then I'm wondering why I haven't seen a heck of a lot more posts in the M&G section about all of the lunch, dinner, and other outings that everyone else on the forums are going on. I'm feeling left out. Damn cliques.

I have no idea...I didn't see any of it. Reading here, it sounds like it was being discussed in a personal forum, which makes it sound like a personal invite to a certain set of people. If that's the case, I don't see a problem with it, because people do that off the forums all the time.
That being said, inviting people to a zoo (where they'd likely bring their kids) doesn't sound like a public forum event. There are too many creepers on here to involve the kids.
