Seriously? Butthurt over not being invited to a weekend activity?
It might have been brought up in a personal forum, as it was also thrown out there in an open forum...where NO ONE EXPRESSED AN INTEREST.
Also, when I got the "invite" it was from a non-forumite spouse with whom I am now friends. Also, when it was proposed to me it was a couple of "couple friends" and didn't include the children (at least not the ones under 21!) In fact, if they had been - that would have been an automatic turndown from me.
As it is - we had a terrific blast - it was a gorgeous day. Beware if you decide to go, though- the "zoo" parking was FULL by 11am...so they let us park in some overflow lot for $30.00!!!
Could you expound on this?
Don't do that anymore. If we wanted them we'd have held a meeting and taken a vote.

To Clear Things Up
The trip to the zoo was originally discussed between BCP, Pan Lady, The Handler and myself before it was ever on the forums.
BCP had the idea to get other forumites to come out that may not be able to make a friday night M&G.
This would have been a good place to meet new people, but not have to hang out together if people chose to go in their own direction.
The zoo trip was posted in multiple forums, on FB, and discussed at the M&G.
Everyone was welcome, even vrai, but only six of us made it. We had a good time.
I am surprised that people are getting all butt hurt over this when it was open to all just like every friday night M&G is.
I would love to meet more people from the forums, like nextjen who made it out friday for the first time, but I seems some people would rather complain that get off their asses and make a M&G.
We are planning some different get together in the future and the will be posted for everyone to see.
