singles' support groups

are there any singles' support groups here like parents without partners? i'm newly single and interested in meeting other singles for friendships, not just dating. all my old friends are married and busy with their spouses. any others in the same boat interested in meeting and forming something?

Death or divorce? I know there is a support group for singles that are widow/widowers.

I wish I knew of one - I'm divorced, no kids - same boat, all my friends are married and busy with kids or spouses!
