So, I am in need of some ideas for his 2 lb roast I have !!! Crock Pot ideas please !!!

Uh..this is late I know. I'm sure you've already fixed your roast. But for future reference, I usually put my roasts in the crock pot with baby carrots, sliced onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, redwine and beef broth. Depending on the roast, I sometimes add a package of McCormicks beef stew seasoning mix. It makes incredible gravy.

I use Lipton's soup mix, either beef or beef onion, instead of the beef stew mix.

I brown the beef in an electric skillet, then simmer in the same skillet for a few hours. In fact, I'm making a pot roast that way as I type....

Sounds like my recipe, though I use a pressure cooker rather than a slow cooker. Sometimes I will add a packet of powdered Italian or ranch dressing.

Not sure if you like spicy, like Mexican spicy. Add a packet or two of the taco seasoning and a bit of chicken stock; or you can experiment on your own with chili powder, cayenne pepper etc..
Seasoning a roast this way, more often than not also helps tenderize as it cooks.

Only time I put a roast (beef or pork) in a crockpot is if it's really tough or if I'm planning on shredding the meat (Italian beef, pulled pork). I think the crockpot tends to dry out or break down the meat too much for my taste. I'd prefer it in a pressure cooker with onions, carrots and potatoes.
