Skins v. Ants...

If it is me, I get rid of both of them ASAP. This is not a first or even second offense. They were among 11 morons who got caught and TOLD they'd be tested regularly. Among those 11 only two came up with the bright idea that they could wake and bake for the first month of the season before testing re-started.

Only two.

The Redskins can NOT be seen as the 'cash in' team. They can't be seen as the 'tolerant' team. They can't...if they want to be seen as the sober, cold hearted, single minded team that is about one and only one thing; winning.

They keep those two idiots, they will be ONE more poor decision by either of them to being gone for a year. A year. This is a short term gig, being an NFL player. This isn't a 20-30 year career. It's four on average. Guys like London Fletcher pay the price to try and stay around as long as possible. If these IDIOTS are already numerous violations into their careers, year two for Trent, 3 or four for Davis, I am sorry, they do not deserve to be here, at all, because they are about self and not team.

Way too much money on the hook to release Williams unless a positive piss test can be construed as a PUP. Davis has A LOT more to lose, last year on his rookie contract, and there won't be too many teams willing to take the chance if the Redskins do shop him. I wonder how many picks we can still get for him???

I'd refer to the no names on the o line as well. THERE is some magic. Get you an army of nobodies who are happy just to be here and to hell with 71.

I swear I don't get it. Anyone can spend $100 million a year and suck. I'd trade my top picks regularly to have a mob of mid and late picks, guys who really, truly want to play football for a living.

Hopefully we can find players like this, we had our Albert and no room for that again. I am burgundy and gold through and through, would be nice to be on top again(inthenearfuture)

And there it is; are we about the money or winning? Millions lost on letting Fat Albert go means a lot to the team, setting the right tone and attitude. We're going right back to square one keeping players like this, in my view.

There's a lot more millions to come Snyders way by selling out again, by being on at 4 instead of 1, by being in the playoffs. By being in the Super bowl.

Over the last 12-15 years? This club has been about money. Fat Al was the bitter pill we had to swallow to keep from letting good money go after bad. I can see the club trying to avoid going throught this again with a young turd like Williams. I'm seeing mandatory counseling in someone's future.

OBTW: A turd can be polished, I saw it on Mythbusters.:yay:

As of today we are the #7 pick in next year's draft but I do not know how many picks we have (I've heard 9-12) but that is likely to change depending on these last two weeks of the season and draft day wheeling and dealing.

Landry is up (#3&4?)
Davis is up (#1 & a 2)

What magic? Williams was not on his way to Canton and he may just be a bust. You can't miss on LT's early in the first round. Just can't. Is Williams clearly better than Okung and Davis?

Better than Okung and Davis? Yes. Both have been injured throughout their careers.

Williams has a long...long way to go.
