I vote for Skull Mex. I have really enjoyed the food the 3 times I've been there. not so wild about the Mexico Restaurant....too much heavy sauce for me.

Why not call it cráneo instead then (spanish translation for skull), that way the people that know the tradition will see it's still respected, and the rest won't be put off by the name.

Can you imagine all'a us with our Suthin' Merlin accents trying to pronounce that? I can; thank you SpanishI; but how many others of us can? :-D

I see that Skull finally changed there name. Wonder if they were reading these posts. Anyway, it is now called Fiesta.
The name Fiesta is so much better than Skull. Hope it improves their business and glad we could help, lol

They always had plans to change the name. He had to go through the painstaking permitting process with the alcohol board (that meets once a month). He has a banner up now, with plans for a new sign in a few weeks.

Speaking of restaurants, I saw a sign saying coming soon, I might not have the name right but it was something like Cantino or Costo something, if that was even right; but any way it was at the old Lonestar in Lexington Park.

Had good Skull food a few weeks ago just before the name change; Service was not good. We were not impressed by LT a month or 2 back. Poor food and mediocre at best service.

Skull Restuarant Name Change

The new name of the restaurant is Fiesta Bar & Grill. Food is very good, service is excellent....pitchers of Margueritas and/or Sangria at table, always refilled.
