Skunk!

Tecnu Original Outdoor Skin Cleanser is known for the removal of poison ivy oil, but it can also remove the skunk smell from your pet's fur. That is according to their website.
Oh not my dog, I don't care if it smells like a skunk.

Even today my house has a faint skunk odor.

My St Bernard/Great Pyrenees used to get sprayed at least once every spring. Once Tecnu was introduced to me, it just became an annoying ritual, not a months long horror.

All that long hair kept that oil, and everytime she got wet (and she LOVED to play in the rain!) there was that stench!

I think I will always miss that dog. I would have another Pyrenees in a heartbeat.
When I'm finally able to get a dog a Great Pyrenees is high on my list.

My trail cam showed nothing of the bloodbath that took place in the garden. I may as well pitch the damned thing. All I know is that something lost a lot of blood and there's no blood trail leading away. Whatever bled was carried away quickly.

Could have been flown in or out, I had an eagle that would sit atop one of my big pine trees and discard bunny pieces in my yard. Also found a fish on my roof once.

I had a bald eagle and an osprey fighting over a mud shad in the trees overhanging my yard. I found a maggot encrusted fish in the back of my S10 2 days later. :yikes:

Isn't two days too soon for maggots?
My times may be off. I keep several old vehicles in the motor pool and some sit for a week or more at a time. I backed it up to the woods for a good rinsing and had to remove the remains with a close tined pitchfork. :barf:

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

Found this poor fella nestled in a tree about 30 feet up. Pretty sure an eagle was the culprit. Had to have come back later to finish the snack, as the next day it wasn't there. Or maybe, the opossum was just playing dead?
