Great time! Wish they'd done more songs, though.

The concert was 15 minute short, at least 2 additional songs could have been played. I was just very greatful that all had a good time with minimal issues. Thumbs up to all the attendee's for that. I will floor for next year, ZZTOP... :buttkiss:

Funny...a few of us that sat together had the same idea.

Everyone I talked with asked for the same thing as well. I think ZZTOP will sell out totallyand give a longer show. I think we had 4400 on Friday. Wont know until we actually count the tickets.

I would like to put out a call for pictures that anyone may have of the concert. I want to post on our website at slvfd.com.

thanks

...with Free Bird?????????????

:lmao:

I don't get it - isn't a crowd clamoring for "Free Bird" kind of synonymous with an encore? Don't people sometimes shout for "Free Bird" even at NON-Skynyrd concerts?

Its the most requested song in the history of Rock and Roll.

...was trying to make fun of was that very fact, as though kwill had pointed out that a movie ended with...'the end'.

It was supposed to be funny. It didn't work. Report me to DHS.

From the book "How to Behave;"

"Invariably there will be someone in your vicinity who just can' stop herself from singing along with every song." Should the direct approach in getting her to quit singing fail, move on to Plan B:

"1. Out-sing her. When she starts to sing, you start to sing, but louder and more obnoxiously.
2. Make eye contact with her and begin to gesture and dance in place as you sing.
3. You may even try to harmonize with her - the worse you are, the better. Your horrendous singing will drown out her voice and make it futile for her to continue."
